The yoga practice on a mat can be done with the support of an aerial hammock. The hammock allows you to deepen into stretches, to maintain proper alignment naturally and to reap the benefits of inversions without strain on the joints of the body.
Aerial yoga uses a soft fabric hammock sized to each student suspended a few feet off the ground. It is used as a prop to access alignment, relaxes tight muscles and ease stiff joints.
