Focusing on breath, relaxation, posture, and strengthening the body through core exercises and movement, Lynda believes that yoga is for everybody. She makes it her personal goal to bring the benefits of yoga to all her students.
Lynda has been practicing yoga for more than thirty years and teaching yoga classes since 2004 when she received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification from Kripalu in Lenox, MA and her 500 hour teacher certification form Lynn Matthews, Yoga4Life, in Annapolis, MD. She has taught a variety of classes to both children and adults. She is flexible in her teaching style and attentive to her student’s needs. Students have commented that her caring style has helped them find peace and relaxation in their individual practices and in their lives.
Lynda continues to refine her teacher training with workshops and summer trainings at Kripalu, Omega Institute, and a number of studios in the New England area. She has studied with Shiva Rea, Ana Forrest, Gary Kraftsow, Mark Whitwell, Lynn Matthews, and many other great yoga teachers. She has also studied Qigong and tai chi with Roger Jahnke and has earned certification as a Tai Chi Practice Leader with The Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi.
